Wellington & Reeves love to promote from within.  Many of our staff started their career at reception and have now moved through the ranks. There are plenty of opportunities if you want to take them. Four of our last five receptionists are still with the agency today. 

Current Opportunities

Accounts Officer

We are seeking an Accounts Officer to join our leading real estate agency. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established, community-focused business in a vital behind-the-scenes role.

You’ll work closely with management and the wider team, handling day-to-day accounts functions and helping keep everything running accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable & receivable

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Trust and general account support

  • Invoicing and expense processing

  • Payroll support (as required)

  • Assisting with month-end reporting

  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and external accountants

  • Compiling Variable & Outgoings budgets & reconciliations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in trust accounting (commercial understanding GST aspects preferred)

  • Qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping desirable

  • Strong knowledge of trust account compliance

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Confidence using real estate software (e.g. Re-Leased, PropertyMe or similar)

  • A team player with great communication skills
